This Consumer Privacy Notice gives you a short, plain-language summary of how ClearRate collects and uses your personal data when you use clearrate.ae. It is a companion to, and does not replace, our full Privacy Policy, which contains the complete legal terms governing our processing of your personal data.

ClearRate operates clearrate.ae, an owner-direct property marketplace in the United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, ClearRate is the controller of personal data collected through the Platform.

3. What We Collect, in Brief

• If you are a Seller: your name, Emirates ID details, contact information, property ownership documents, property details, and payment information.
• If you are a Buyer: your mobile number (for OTP verification), and, if you choose to provide it, your email address and any offer details you submit.
• For all visitors: basic technical information such as device type and IP address, and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

4. Why We Collect It

• To verify who you are before you can list a property or contact a Seller.
• To connect Buyers and Sellers directly through the Platform.
• To process payment for listing fees and optional services.
• To keep the Platform secure and prevent fraud.
• To send you OTP codes, receipts, and, if you agree, marketing updates.

5. Who We Share It With

We share your details with the other party to a Listing enquiry (for example, a Buyer's verified contact information is shared with the Seller they contact), and with trusted service providers who help us run the Platform including UAE Pass for identity verification, Twilio for OTP delivery, Tap Payments for payment processing, and our hosting providers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Your Choices

• You can review, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@clearrate.ae.
• You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or your account settings.
• You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie settings link in the Platform footer.

7. Keeping Your Data Safe

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and OTP-based verification, to help protect your personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to keep your account credentials confidential.
